About Us
The man behind Poco Bonkers
My name is Thomas Sandberg, I am a board certified Animal Naturopath. I created Poco Bonkers to help raise funds for Long Living Pets Rescue and Rehab Center. This center will adopt sick pets stuck in shelters, unadoptable and facing euthanasia due to lack of funds to heal them.
We will:
- Heal these pets using natural modalities that I have developed (I'm a board certified animal naturopath).
- Share our strategies.
- Teach others to do the same.
- Develop a world-wide support community of animal lovers adopting these unfortunate pets.
I'm also the founder of Long Living Pets Research Projects a 30-year study into raw fed dogs and cats. My hypothesis is that dogs and cats can live much longer that they do today. I'm also on mission to reduce the risk for cancer taking out pets. Currently 60-70% of dogs will get cancer. For dogs in my study the risk is below 5%. I'm working on lowering that even further.
The philosophy of Poco Bonkers - Take Action
There is a kid inside us all that secretly loves to have fun and play. There are many things we would like to do that we never do in fear of appearing a little crazy - Poco Bonkers.
Poco means 'little' (in Spanish) and Bonkers means 'crazy' (mostly used in UK).
Nothing happens unless we take action!
The Poco Bonkers generation is a group of people that take action and live out their fantasies mentally and physically through 'proper use' of body, mind and soul. With 'proper use' I mean without the risk of hurting themselves or others mentally and physically. They have families, jobs and responsibilities that they can't risk jeopardizing with carless behaviors. So they are just a poco bonkers about their activities not mucho bonkers.
